There’s nothing quite like checking off boxes on a list, am I right? The feeling of turning chaos and anxiety into structure and calm by writing the things you need to do on a list, set a priority and start crushing the things, one by one, is hard to exceed. With this to do note pad, you’ve got room for a hectic life, and a lot of satisfaction coming your way when you get to cross or fill in (whichever, I don’t judge) those boxes.
The pens are my favorite colored fine liners, because good pens and bright colors never hurt anyone – there’s no need to live a boring life if you don’t have to, right? You can use the different colors randomly when writing your tasks, or make a little schedule where a category of chores or level of priority is represented by one color. That might give your structure even more dimensions and make it easier for you to use and foresee. Also, the pens don’t bleed through the paper (in case you want to use the back of the paper for notes).
I’ve used spirals for this, because there’s a point in saving each list, in contrast to tearing it off and throwing it away. If you mark each page with the date or week of which it applies, you’ve got a great documentation of what you’ve been doing and when that can be of use for you down the road. Plus, you get to keep and see how many things you actually have accomplished down the road. This can be a great thing for those of us that never feel like we’ve done enough. So when one list is full, just turn the page, mark it with a date and start a new list by filling in those tasks that weren’t finished from last page. With that said, you can of course tear a page out, if you want to, after all it’s a notepad, not a book.
