Gelly Roll Moonlight from Sakura is now available in pastel colors! I’m a sucker for pastel but poppy gel pens, and I’ve tried a lot of different brands, and Gelly Roll Moonlight’s new collection is right up my alley. They have soft, beautiful colors without the neon, which at the same time cover very well even on black paper. The ink flows well too.
In this set you will find eight beautiful pens, really like caramels! The colors are yellow, orange, pink, blue, green, lavender, sky blue and grey. Together with the Koi pastel brushpens and a couple of regular black Sakura Pigma Microns in different sizes, you have a great line up for your analog calendar.
The Sakura Gelly Roll moonlight is good at getting an even flow, but as with all gel pens, be careful not to press too hard when writing. Then the little ball is pushed into the tube and clogs the flow of color.

You can use your Gelly Rolls on all types of paper, such as Lettering Paper Black, Lettering Paper Smooth and Lettering Paper Coated – all of which can be purchased as pads or loose sheets.
