Sakura Koi Brush Pens, set

I have used Sakura Koi for almost as long as I have been lettering, I just never thought of putting them up for sale in my shop before. That’s weird, because you can always count on Japanese high quality company Sakura to produce great pens, and the Koi are no exception.
The waterbased ink is odorless and blendable, but most of all the colors are amazing, and the tip is quite big, about the same size as the Marsgraphic Duo brush tip. If I should compare the two, I’d say that both are great pens, but the Koi are a bit better when it comes to pigment and brush tip endurance.
Just as other waterbased inks, you can blend and dilute the ink with water for a watercolor effect.

Jag har använt Sakura Koi Brushpens nästan lika länge som jag hållit på med lettering, det har bara inte slagit mig att sälja dem i shoppen – förrän nu. Det är ganska konstigt, eftersom du alltid kan räkna med japanska högkvalitativa Sakura när det gäller tillverning av bra pennor, och Koi är inget undantag.
Det vattenbaserade bläcket är luktfritt och blandbart, men mest av allt är färgerna fantastiska, och spetsen är ganska stor, ungefär I samma storlek som Marsgraphic Duos penselspets. Om jag skulle jämföra de två, så skulle jag saga att båda är riktigt trevliga pennor, men att Koi är strået vassare när det kommer till pigment och spetsens hållbarhet.
Precis som anda vattenbaserade färger, så kan du blanda dem och späda ut dem med vatten för en vattenfärgseffekt.
