The truth, right there!
This card is quadratic, (150 x 150 mm, or 5.90 x 5.90 in) and comes in three variations:
Folded (with envelope)
Single (with envelope)
Postcard (with a printed area for address and stamp on the back)
The card is printed on my absolute favorite among premium papers: Scandia 2000 ivory 300 gsm. The paper is produced in Lessebo Papermill, located in Småland, Sweden – not far from where I live. I choose to work with paper from Lessebo sine it’s not only close to where I live, minimizing the transports, but also because of all papermills in the whole world, Lessebo’s manufacturing process has the least environmental impact! Cool, huh?
And besides that, Scandia 2000 ivory is an amazing premium paper! It’s thick, slightly tinted and has the most amazing papery feel to it.
The envelope is of course Scandia 2000 ivory too, since there is nothing worse than a card and an envelope that doesn’t match (or, okay, some things might be worse, but not that many).
I drew the outlines of the books with this fine liner, the word reading with this marker and the other words with this handy brush pen.
For the purpose of writing on these cards and envelopes, this fine liner is my go to pen – or this one, if you want to put some color on your letters. Or perhaps this awesome brush pen, if you’re more of a brush kind of person.
And don’t forget – if you want to create your own, totally unique, cards, you’ll find empty cards with envelopes here.
What if we all could send some more love in the post? Wouldn’t that be great?
